Low Pressure Ball Check Valve, General Design Information

(OP)
I am looking for general information for designing a low pressure (1-2psi) ball check valve.  The type of information that I am looking for includes:  common practices, materials selection, check valve terminology, do's and don'ts, etc.  I am looking for something that I can access quickly such as a .pdf document or something on the web.  Thanks in advance!

RE: Low Pressure Ball Check Valve, General Design Information

This low pressure check valve is the most difficult to design. Unless you have very large orifice to seal the forces involved are very low and any friction in the system will kill the check valve. I suggest you look for check valves from Circle Seal they have such a valve for aerospace use.
