excel graphic add-ins?

(OP)
Hi,

I tried to make a post before but i don't think it worked.

Anyway, i'm trying to plot shapes in excel.. like lets say a circle.

Now i know it's possible to plot those shapes in excel using the simple scatter chart, but the problem is that the graphing feature of excel is not powerful enough. I want to be able to zoom in and out and move the view around on the graph.

I wanted to know if there are any graphic add-ins that could be downloaded or purchased to use instead of using the "insert chart" feature of excel.

Thanks

RE: excel graphic add-ins?

Yes you can.

Go to <view><toolbars> and click on <drawing>

You'll get a drawing tool bar at the bottom of the screen which allows you to draw many shapes such as circles, rectangles, ellipses, etc. With these you can draw sketches of almost anything. I've even seen some passably good art done this way.

good luck

RE: excel graphic add-ins?

You can use an acticeX control such as Tchart for Visual Basic and use it within a Macro
