Weldment cut list wierdness.

Weldment cut list wierdness.

Weldment cut list wierdness.

Has anybody seen a glitch with SW08 SP3 where a weldment cut list cannot be manually changed unless you automatically update the cut list, then delete the cut list that gets created? This seems to be 64/32 bit unrelated.

RE: Weldment cut list wierdness.

Yes!  I am having problems with the cut lists in the "As welded" configuration and the "as machined" configurations not being syncronized.  So, when I insert my weldment cut list table into the drawing, parts are missing.  How do you fix this?!  In the past, I have unchecked "automatic" in the right mouse click menu for "cut list" and then deleted all of the cut list items and repopulated the cut list.  this seems to work for some models, but not all of them, to syncronize the cut lists.
I am looking for answers too, as no one else in the office seems to be experiencing this.

I think it has something to do with SP3.0 because we weren't having trouble in 2.1

We are still using 2007

Now that is odd, because in 07 we didn't have a problem.

You should always update the cut list after you make changes to the model. Check the release notes or the help file to make sure it didn't change in the SP. SP is not just fixes they also have some enhancements in them (minor ones).

I wouldn't call not being able to manually edit the cut list an enhancement.
