RE: Mating edge to face? Mating edge to sketch line?

Hi,

Mate Face to Sketch(line) line assumed to drawn in Assembly:
  use either Mate or Planar:

 - select the face of the placement part
 - select the sketch line
   - now you have the choice to mate to either
of two planes (which are perpenticular to
     each other)

Mate Edge to Face

not direkt you have to use Connect then:

  - select a point on the edge
  - select target face

This works at least with V18 and up

You can use the Parallel Assy relation to make a part edge and sketch line colinear.
