I have a drawing where I want to enter the Greek symbol lambda.  Is there a quick and dirty way or is it a case of copying and pasting from a Open Office symbol?

?

RE: Greek symbols in SW

Change your font to Symbol or Universal Math and use a capital letter "L."

RE: Greek symbols in SW

I just noticed that SolidWorks does have its own native font for greek letters.  "SWGrekc" & "SWGreks"

Thanks for the options from simple to custom amazing.  I will use simple for now but upgrade to a custom to suit out fonts in future.

you can also do alt-0955 in a text box. that makes the lambda symbol also.
