This is something that i used to do ALOT with inventor and solidworks, is there a simlar construct in SE? I cannot fine something simlar.
I am trying to perform some tube construction, and have a main tube which is to be dilled out at a funny angle to allow the passing of two smaller tubes through it.
I can align the smaller tubes to the hole, but i would like to create a line / axis though the centre of the tube (perpendicular to the cross section) and mate that to the centre plane of the larger tube (parallel to the cross section). creating a "cross" with a large tube with two smaller tubes passing though it.

I did figure out a way to do it, using sketches, the "connect" mate and something called topography. Seems to work, but clunky.

It is then simply a matter of creating a sketch line or point at an appropriate place in each tube model to fix the position of the small tubes in the larger tube using a connect relationship. If the rotational position of the small tube does not matter just lock the axial align relationship, otherwise you should be able to mate/align reference planes to achieve the correct rotation.
How have you created the hole at an angle through the wall of the large tube ?
I would generally create a sketch line at the appropriate angle and then create the hole/cutout on a plane at the end of that line. Then you will already have one of the sketches required for positioning.
