FMS error starting NX5

FMS error starting NX5

We just upgraded to NX 5.  When I start NX5 through Teamcenter, I get the attached error messages.  When I click "OK" the messages, NX starts and seems to run fine.  What could be causing this error?

RE: FMS error starting NX5

sorry for the obvious answer but sounds like they don't have FMS configured. The FCC (Client) cache can't connect to the FSC (Server) cache, so it falls back to using pre FMS.

Which is better right now anyways since there was an issue with loading  files, but that may just be another Linux server windows 64 pain.

You can set in start_ugmanager to not use FMS, will get rid of the message. Then decide if you want to configure it and use it later.

Thanks for the response, Dave.

It turns out the solution was in the cube next to me.  One or our others designers had the same problem and had found out the solution was to delete the existing FCCCache directory in each users local settings.  Seems something in the old didn't agree with the new.
