Hole Series Tool Pro's & Con's

I am looking at possibly using the Hole Series feature in SolidWorks to again try to cut down on possible errors that could occur if bolt sizes are changed.  I am looking for some input on the pro's & con's (if there are any, but I am sure there are) of this feature.  ANY input is extremely appreciated.

RE: Hole Series Tool Pro's & Con's

I seldom use the assy feature Hole Series function, but one con that I know of is that (unlike a Hole Wizard hole) it cannot be started on a non-planar face. Even a ref plane cannot be used.

cheers

That is very interesting.  I can't say that this would cause me not to use it but very interesting.  Thanks for the heads up, sounds like a possible E.R. to me.
