Axis Creation ?

Axis Creation ?

Axis Creation ?

(OP)
Hello All,

I want to create an axis that finds the intersection of the center of 2 symetric holes located on 2 symetric compound surfaces or planes. It would be as if you were placing a shaft thru two holes that are at the same height, but angle away and up from each other equally. I'm getting re-aquainted with Pro_e on WF3 and need a little advice? May not be a challenge for most in here but please advise.

Thanks

RE: Axis Creation ?

If I am reading your question properly...I believe the best way to go is to create a datum point at the intersection of the each hole axis and the surface that each hole is on.

Then create a datum axis through the two new datum points.

'hope this helps
