High Voltage Power Pulse Circuit

High Voltage Power Pulse Circuit

High Voltage Power Pulse Circuit

(OP)
I want to start a project to pulse coils of different types & study the effects of the magnetic waves produced.

I have found a schematic on the Net but:
I can't read the parts listed on the Schematic on my computer as they look all jumbled up & hard to read, could somebody with suitable knowledge help out with this & clarify the schematic & a parts listing & numbers, values etc to suit.

From what i can see & read the circuit needs a controlled input pulse of 0-5V dc & two 12V dc inputs as well as the main voltage souce marked HV, is this correct?

I would like to have a "variable" pulse generator or circuit as the controlled input pulse if one exists, please advise once again.

Thank You

RE: High Voltage Power Pulse Circuit

Looks pretty generic to me.  A wide variety of component changes could be made.  Just save schematic to your desktop and expand it.  I found it readable after doing that.

Thanks OperaHouse,

Not sure what is happening, when i try to enlarge the schematic it goes all blury & the text is close up & hard to read?
Not sure!
Thanks

RE: High Voltage Power Pulse Circuit

There is no enlargement for that particular GIF, it is what it is.  Even at the size given, though, the values are clear enough to be legible to me... try a different monitor, if you're using an LCD, make sure it's running at its native resolution.

RE: High Voltage Power Pulse Circuit

It is GIF and I am sure everyone has a better computer than I do.  Once copied to desktop it can be expanded, mine goes up to 400%.  From the several comments attached to the article it appears many people are not familiar with this feature, mine is in the bottom right corner.

RE: High Voltage Power Pulse Circuit

Opera, any expansion you're doing is not tied to the GIF itself, but to some program you're running it through.  If the actualy image is large, your browser may shrink the image to fit onto a page, but it will typically give you a magnifying glass cursor with a '+' in the middle to let you know the resolution can be increased.  In this case, the image was poorly compressed, making the lettering a bit crunched in spots.  Still, I'm able to read every value with the occasional educated guess on a numeral or two.
