Question Regarding Blowdown Time of Compressor Station

Question Regarding Blowdown Time of Compressor Station

Question Regarding Blowdown Time of Compressor Station

(OP)
I have searched through the codes (i.e. ASME B31.8, DOT 192, etc.) regarding the above subject, but have not got a definitive answer.  We have a natural gas compressor station and I am trying to find if there is a certain amount of time that is needed to blowdown the entire facility during an emergency shutdown, or if you just use good engineering practice.  Any help would be greatly appreciated to this newbie.

Thanks
