Fail to Save document

Any one having problems with an error in solidworks, trying to save assembly, suddenly get an error "failed to save document"?

RE: Fail to Save document

I had it for a few minutes then it went away. My colleague had it in the same time. I think it is related to the network traffic or speed.

RE: Fail to Save document

We used to have that "failed to save document" error while trying to save all the time. We figured out that it was one of two things. First, the user trying to save the file might have had too many solidWorks files open or second
there was literally not enough room on the hard drive to save the file.

We now regularly clean our hard drives of accumalted junk files.

RE: Fail to Save document

There was a whole bunch of posts about this last year. Press the Search button between the Forum and FAQs buttons just above the posts area and then Cut and Paste "failed to save" into the keyword box, you'll get the responses there.
