Cut - sweep (loft) - with 2 guidelines

(OP)
Hello ,

I want to cut away a section that have to follow 2 different guidelines (2x a 3dsketch).

How can i make this possible ?
Do i define a several sections en use a cutloft several times ?

See the picture attached :
I have to cut away the untherside of the U-form following a outerguideline and a innerguideline

Greetings
michael

RE: Cut - sweep (loft) - with 2 guidelines

When a sweep section sketch needs to follow multiple guides, use a pierce constraint in the section sketch to tie a sketch point to a guide curve.

I believe M.C.Escher would like to see that model. smile

If I'm finally seeing it correctly, combine the 3D sketches and create a closed loop, use the Area Fill tool to create a surface, then cut the model with that surface.

cheers

thanks for the reply

I wil try this also

But I did the following thing (maybe to complex):

I create 4 skechtes : 2 in parralel face + 2 in the corners.

I use the cut loft to connect them wit the 2 guidecurves.
At the underside i connect them with a straigt line also
