Assembly Mate Question

Assembly Mate Question

Assembly Mate Question

(OP)
I have an assembly that consistes of a few sub assemblies of which one is a pneumatic cylinder.  The cylinder assembly moves within it's piston range but I can not get it to move (mate) within the next higher assembly.  SW says that it is fully defined and can not move.  I even went back to the cylinder assembly and suppressed all the mates and verified that no part is fixed but it still will not move in the next assembly.  Why can I not drag the cylinder in/out?  I guess I'm asking why the flexible joints on the ends of the cylinder are no longer flexible when put into another assembly.

Picture included for your reference.
Thanks in advance,

Hi Anna,
Funny, I thought I was the only one up modeling at 3:00 in the blessed morning.  Thanks for the suggestion, I will take a look at that immediately.
