High Temp Stainless

(OP)
Good Morning:

I am looking for High temp stainless alloy for use in a reducing envirnment, operating temperatures of 2550 F.  Looking for cast specification.

Regards,

TWR

RE: High Temp Stainless

A stainless steel does not exist for your application. Ceramics or refractory materials would need to be employed.

RE: High Temp Stainless

There are a number of high temp cast Ni alloys that you can use at 2100F or a little higher.
Leek on the web site of Wisconsin Centrifugal (Metaltek) to get an idea of what some of these are.
