Creating a Custom Material

Creating a Custom Material

(OP)
I'm using CosmosWorks Pro 2007 and need to create a custom material for plastic analysis.

I have a 800 record stress/strain spreadsheet (Excel) which I would like to import but cosmos will only accept a *.DAT file, how can I get this file into cosmos without manually entering it?

Thanks in advance

Tim

Turns out the answer is to save the worksheet as a *.csv file then change the folder properties in windows to view the extension, change the extension to *.dat which allows COSMOS to pull it in and create the material properties.
