Mate between sketch entity and 3D geometry

Mate between sketch entity and 3D geometry

Mate between sketch entity and 3D geometry

(OP)
Hello,

I cannot make, in assembly, a mate (relation, in my case concentricity) between a positioning sketch and a circular edge of a solid... It worked until yesterday, but now, if I activate the "mate" function, I can only select the edge of the 3d solid but not the circle from my positioning sketch! I tried to deactivate the filters, but without result. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks many times in advance.

Donnis

It's difficult to say what you're doing wrong, but you should be able to mate those types of geometry without a problem.  Try selecting the sketch entity first, maybe?

I've already tried it - no success. But thank you for your reply.

Check your selection filters.  Also make sure your sketch and edge are not part of the same component.

Thank you all for your answers. The problem was that I simply forgot to close the positioning sketch in that part (didn't "go out" from the sketch). As soon as I closed the sketch, everything came back to normal. Thanks again.
