autocad templates alway end on wrong side

autocad templates alway end on wrong side

autocad templates alway end on wrong side

Is there a way to import autocad template on the correct side of a drawing. It alway puts it on the editable side, then i have to cut, edit sheet format, and paste it into the other side of the drawing. Problem is it never keeps the correct position after you cut and paste. Is there a way for it to import on the correct side???

thanks a million,

Matthew

RE: autocad templates alway end on wrong side

Copy and paste the DWG elements onto the sheet while it is in Edit Sheet Format mode.

Yeah, but for some reason it is never centered after i cut and paste. The only way it comes in center is when i import the sheet with the import wizard.

Problem solved! Actually, I missed a setting when importing. "Under show layers" Select layers selected for sheet format. Hightlight all the nessary layers! The template will then come up on the sheet format layer.
