Co2 production for greenhouse

Co2 production for greenhouse

Co2 production for greenhouse

(OP)
Hi, I am developping Co2 electronic control systems. I wonder if there could be a cheap alternative to produce Co2 for greenhouses. What is used right now in the industry  to raise the Co2 ppm concentration is:direct Co2 injection and, propane or natural gaz combustion.

Thank you
Jonathan Dube

RE: Co2 production for greenhouse

There may be some alternatives, but they are not cheap.  I looked at using methylethylamine to selectively capture CO2 out of a generator exhaust stream, the beverage industries use this to capture CO2 from fermenting mash and then pump it back into the beer.  However these systems  are a marvel of engineering and very expensive.  Another possibility would be selective membranes,  High pressure drops are required.
