Gents,

Several years back I had information regarding temperature drop in impulse lines i.e x Deg per foot or whatever, between root valve to electronic instrument.
Anybody have a link or reference to similar info ?

Not scientific, but when I worked in the power industry our "go-By" was: 18" would get you to ambient.

For years, the old timers to me the rule-of-thumb as a foot of uninsulated steel impulse line drops 100°F.  I have never seen that written anywhere.
