(OP)
Hi All,

Is there any way of making hyperlinks CTRL+CLICK like in word?

Cheers

Tom

RE: Excel Hyperlink

go to excel and type "hyperlink" for help.  ie( =hyperlink("http://www.eng-tips.com","Click here to go to engineering tips")

Never, but never question engineer's judgement

RE: Excel Hyperlink

Just run the Insert hyperlink command, the second option on the left is Place in This Document, which allows you to enter cell references or names.

This is in Excel 2002, not sure about anything prior.

RE: Excel Hyperlink

In Excel2000 onwards,
Highlight text or shape and right-click for add hyperlink.

If it is the text, the default will turn it into blue with underlining, you can change the format to remove underline, change colour etc.

I often use a square with colour fill of 25% grey and 50% transparency (or even whitefill with 100%) on a plot plan to take me to another worksheet.

Don't forget to home link yourself back.

This way you don't need ctrl +click. When you are adding hyperlink don't foret to change the screentip and force to something simpler. This is the text that appears when you hover over the link.

On all worksheets, I leave the top three rows clear and one column free to put all the navigation and macro buttons.

Hope that helps
