copying drawings into sketcher

(OP)
When I copy drawings or parts of drawings from the drawing viewer and paste them into the sketcher workbench, the geometry is not in the the proper position in relation to my other sketches.  I've tried selecting and dragging the geometry but that does not seem to work.

Is there a way to either select and move the geometry or copy and paste it so that it has the same origin as the other parts of my model?

CATIA V5.15 (Digital Project)

Thanks.

RE: copying drawings into sketcher

You can't select and drag the geometry.

You need to select the geometry and then use the translate command to move it.
