Flex hose for pump (HP, corrosive service)

Flex hose for pump (HP, corrosive service)

Flex hose for pump (HP, corrosive service)

(OP)
Alining the pump and pipe connections had been a continuous strauggle at the field, so we decided to use flexible connection for Cat / Reda M520 HPS ( as least for suction side). The problem is - service is corrosive (sea water, so SS probably can't handle it) and pressure is fairly high - up to 1900 psig. Size of suction connection is 6" 300#.
I've already some contacted manufacturers, but they cann't help - because of pressure or sour service.
Does somebody have a similar expierence?
I'll really appreciate any advice.

RE: Flex hose for pump (HP, corrosive service)

Try investigating tyflon flexable hoses w/ reinforcement for the pressure side.  The suction side needs a reinforcement (spiral wire) to handle the suction.  We have used these Aircraft style hoses in simular cases to isolate equipment vibration.
