Technical Specifications

(OP)
I am about to buy a specification package and I would appreciate any feedback on the two big players.

BSD SpecLink
Uses CSI format; gets quarterly updates; comes in a variety of packages (which might mean I have to get both the "civil" and "structural" modules!).

Arcom Masterspec
AIA endorsed; has civil/structural module.

The firm's need is for both civil and "low-end" structural specs. I believe each system has a slightly different method of customizing their basic text to suit a particular project. Are there any comments on the general ease of use?

Does anyone have comments on the support provided by either company?

Thanks for any input.

David.
