Platforms for runnig of I-Deas

(OP)
Hello,

Can anybody write to me how platform (operating system and version of the OS) using for work in I-Deas, mainly for version 7 and 12, and how is the hardware configuration.

Especially interrest me, exist the I-Deas 7 for HP-UX? If yes, how can I download it?

We use "I-Deas 12 NX" on "HP c8000" with "HP-UX v11i" in our company.
Early, to May 2005 we used "I-Deas 8" on "SGI Octane" with "Irix 6.5.22". (SGI workstations were great machines)

Thank you,

RE: Platforms for runnig of I-Deas

I run I-DEAS 12 NX on HP-UX 11i

As fas as i know I-DEAS is ported to:
Windows: NT,2000,XP,Vista
UNIX: HP-UX, IRIX, Solaris, AIX

Yes I-Deas 7 for HP-UX exists but i though you can't buy it from UGS anymore.

Thank's LukaK.

We bought I-Deas 7 for IRIX in 1997, i think, but we lost installation media. Now I need installation data for HP-UX, mainly for "Plotting", because we have problems with direct printing in I-Deas 12. There are wrong width of lines or we cannot right connect a plotter (old HP DesignJet 800) to HP-UX and I-Deas. It's printing after some hours or it's not printing.

Can you help me with connecting this plotter to HP-UX and then to I-Deas?
Plotter is connect to local network by FTP cable.
