Steel Hot Working Specifications

Steel Hot Working Specifications

Steel Hot Working Specifications

(OP)
I am currently designing a fix for a damaged historic steel truss bridge. A couple of the members recieved only minor local bending (on flanges, etc..) as a result of the hit.

I plan on having the contractor hot work the area back to shape.

Does anyone have sample specifications for this type of work?

Thanks for any help that you can offer.

RE: Steel Hot Working Specifications

Much easier to do than to specify.

Thanks, But I was looking for Hot Working.....i.e. heating up the steel and forcing it to shape.
