Forgeability ratings

Forgeability ratings

(OP)
Dear fellow engineers,

Can someone inform me of any resources that give the forgeability ratings for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals?

Or, even better, how the forgeability rating is calculated?

I look forward to your guidance.

RE: Forgeability ratings

Here is some data reports on both flow stress and high temperature properties of various alloys used in metal forming operations. It also gives the background for the information presented by the different models.

The cost appears to be reasonable. For some reason they use a token system that appears to give one a discount on large purchases.
