changing center marks

changing center marks

changing center marks

(OP)
I have a "D" shaped plate with a center mark locating the center. Due to room limitations remaining on the drawing, one of extension lines of the center mark runs off the edge of the drawing and is really of no use for dimensioning or anything else. Is there a way to hide one extension line of a center mark? I can grab the end and make it longer but cannot make it shorter.

thanks in advance .... RacingD98

RE: changing center marks

Maybe just have a centermark w/ no extensions & sketch a centerline?

RE: changing center marks

You can change the size of the centermark. When you click on it, the display attributes of it will appear. Deselect 'Use document defaults' and adjust the mark size. Turn off the extend lines as well.

RE: changing center marks

or...if it is running off of the dwg, move it to a second sheet or make the sheet bigger.
