Does SW 03 have feature recognition?  I have a customer who wants a sheetmetal part deliverd in SW 03 with a full feature tree.  I think the best i can do is supply a parasolid and if 03 has feature rec. he run that.

Thanks,

RE: SW 03 feature recognition

Pretty demanding for a customer who hasn't upgraded in 5 years.  How much is a customer like this worth?

FeatureWorks does feature recognition, but I haven't been really satisfied with the way it handles sheet metal.  Good luck trying to find '03 FeatureWorks anywhere.

I've still got '03 on my laptop.  I'll see what else I can find.

Meant featureworks.  Does 03 even have that?

It's just some personal side work and would be faily easy.  I'm just gonna tell him I can supply a parasolid or a 07 part file.

Thanks

RE: SW 03 feature recognition

I used FeatureWorks in SW2003.  Again, good luck getting an '03 copy if you need it.
