Antenna Correction Factors
Antenna Correction Factors
(OP)
I've entered a list of factors into my Rhode Schwarz software. The factors are given in dBm. My problem is that I want to take measurements in dBuV. By entering my list in dBm I'm automatically locked in to dbm for everything. I tried converting to dBuV, but the software only allows up to 100 and my factor for 26MHz is 21.2, which when converted is 128.2.
Any thoughts?

RE: Antenna Correction Factors
Antenna factors should be relative sensitivity adjustments, like dB. 100 should be plenty for even a damp string(*).
Is this the root of the problem?
(* an example of a really poor antenna...)

"...antenna factor is the factor by which one would multiply the output voltage of a receiving antenna to obtain or recover the incident electric or magnetic field."
