any know the ASME SA number for SIS 2101 or SIS 14 2101.  The SS number may also be helpfull

RE: swedish steel designation

The suggested Rolled Alloys' paper is the data sheet for a duplex stainless steel, LDX 2101, while SIS 14 21 01  (or rather SS 14 21 01) is the Swedish standard for a carbon-manganese pressure vessel steel.  Determining the corresponding ASTM/ASME steel is not easy, since the Swedish standard covers, sheet, plate, bar, and pipe/tube (seamless and welded).  You can possisbly get better information from the Swedish Standard Institute, www.sis.se
