High Volume Air sampler
High Volume Air sampler
(OP)
Hello Friends,
Would appreciate help with this one. Just dont know what equation i need to use for th following question:
A high-volume air sampler with a clean filter of 20 g weight provides an initial airflow of 2 m3/min. After 24 hours of use the airflow is 1.4 m3/min and the filter weighs 20.5 g. Answer the following:
(i) What volume of air was put through the filter?
(ii) How is the air flow in such an air sampler measured?
(iii) What is the weight of the particulates collected?
Thanks in advance!

RE: High Volume Air sampler
Anemometers are used for measuring air flow.
The weight of the particulates is the difference between the clean and dirty filter.
RE: High Volume Air sampler
You have the starting and ending flow rates. You need to integrate flow rate over time to get the total volume.
I hope this helps.
