Missing options in the menus

Missing options in the menus

(OP)
Hi!

I used NX 5 in a subject I did last semester, and now when I'm trying to use it again something is missing. It used to be certain elements in the "insert -> design feature" menu like block, cylinder, etc. which is no longer there. How can I get these back? Following the instructions in my practices from the subject doesn't help me (Start -> Modeling).

Thanks

RE: Missing options in the menus

Hi josenx,

When I upgraded from NX4 I also noticed that certain features weren't available through the menus eg. slot.

I had to find the features within the icon buttons. Try right clicking on the grey area where the buttons are, hit Feature, click on the end of the toolbar you created, select add / remove buttons, then find the feature your after.

Hope this helps.

RE: Missing options in the menus

I think if you change your role to Advanced with Full menus as John pointed out, you'll not have to create your own toolbars.
