Title panel - attributes

Title panel - attributes

Title panel - attributes

(OP)
Hello!

I’m using NX4.

I have to plot a lot of planes with different sizes every day. (A0…A4) Our company has an own title panel (engineer name, plane number, mould number, etc.) what we use.

I would like to visualize the scale and the size of the sheet in the title panel with attributes. So, if I make an A4 size of plane with scale 1:1 I would like to see in the title panel: A4, 1:1, but if I change the size of the paper to A3 I would like to see A3 in the title panel. (I could make the other titles. For example: name - <W@?10 NAME>, <W@?13 MOULD NUMBER> )

Has anybody a good idea?

Thank you the answers!

RE: Title panel - attributes

The tip I can give you is that the Annotations expanded panel actually has all the features that you need to manage this under the relationships tab, there are three icons allowing you to embed expressions, object attributes and part attributes into notes on your drawing. What you would usually use as you're already describing above is a part attribute. In addition you can build these settings into drawing templates, create you own pallette using a .pax file and basically automate thw whole process. There are samples of this shipped with NX if you search for them in the install directories. Most of us started there and modified a few things to get the most out of NX.

Firstly you should search the forum here using the Google search at the top of the page. I say that because I know we have posted on the topic several time before. Some of the information and jargon that I'm using above should help you to search better.

Best Regards

Hudson
