Ansys 11 Installation Problems

(OP)
Hi there, I have just installed Ansys 11, now i have the license running and the ordinary Ansys program works fine, however when i open Ansys Workbench, the program loads up and all that appears if a blank grey screen, no menu's nothing.

I plan on installing solid works at a later date, i have heard that workbench is a more cad friendly interface and am wondering if i need a cad software package to allwo workbench to load, any ideas??

Many thanks

RE: Ansys 11 Installation Problems

Hi,
no, it's an installation or a license problem.
Check that the license has an expiration higher than the release date of the Ansys version of Workbench you are using (for example, license could have been released in time for WB 11 s.p.1 but not for WB 11 s.p.2). If not, ask your reseller for a license update (in this case, it doesn't have any additional fee).

Regards
