Can anyone give me guidance on the construction, layout etc. for a grassed swale for stormwater run-off from a small hard standing?

A typical detail would be great is anyone knows where i could get one.

Thanks
Vinny

Depends on how much water has to move and how quickly.

Please obtain and review FHWA's Design of Roadside Channels with flexible Linings, Hydraulic Engineering Circular No. 15.  It describes small channel/swale stable design using rock and vegetation.  Google it and you should be directed to the FHWA's site.
