Surface Texture Symbol Data

Hi,

Is it possible to save out saved styles to a text file... I can only get it to save to the actual drawing file. If I want the same styles across the board I'll have to at present, create and save the styles into each template file.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

M

RE: Surface Texture Symbol Data

That type of information is not stored in a text file, just the drawing file as you have noticed.

There is a command that allows you to copy formatting between files: dimensions styles, line styles, face styles, etc.  I actually keep a separate file that stores all of these styles and then use the organizer to copy them to the new template files with each release.

Hi,

Thanks for the info. I use the method you describe for the dimension styles etc, but cannot see how the Surface Texture Symbols can be copied across... what am I missing?
