Comparison SW2008 versus Thinkdesign

Comparison SW2008 versus Thinkdesign

(OP)
Hi everybody, anyone experience with SolidWorks 2008 and Thinkdesign. We now use thinkdesign with hypermill, have ordered one month test for hypermill within SW2008.
Which is performing better, especially with blending, tapering [mold & die machineshop]?
Furthermore, I am coming from UG-NX4, does SW2008 have anything that can be compared with direct-modelling [simlify function within UG], f.i. removing a fillet in existing geometry by direct-modelling function, associative and within history-tree available?

Thanks in advance, Bert
