Most common sections in Europe?

Most common sections in Europe?

Most common sections in Europe?

(OP)
What section is most common in Europe? The IPE or the HE or some other section?

In the U.S. , W sections are very common. An "H" or "S" on the other hand is not easy to find.

I need to specify either IPE or HE, and don't want the contractor to have the more common section.

RE: Most common sections in Europe?

IPE and HEA or HEB together with UPN are common and easily found in almost all sizes. However their usage is different, and you might need a mix of the three types in the same structure (though it all depends on the type of structure of course).

RE: Most common sections in Europe?

"and don't want the contractor to have the more common section." What does this mean? doesn't sound good.

Check Corus website  www.corus.co.uk or www.corus.com a lot of information on their website, plus you can email for advice.

I DO want to facilitate the contractor by specifying the easiest section to find.

I edited that sentence, and the meaning was disastrously altered. Thanks for the mention.
