does anyone know the part number of a MS or NAS(M)type nut plate that has a 0.75" pitch between the rivet holes

nutplace diameter is 10-32 or 3/16

thank you

RE: nutplate pitch

that sounds pretty big, and no doubt you've looked yourself and not found anything.  could you make your own, by mounting a standard a/nut on a small piece of sheet ?

RE: nutplate pitch

MATERIAL AND DIMENSIONS?

RE: nutplate pitch

I looked thru all the nutplate specs I have and only found .688 max.  This is MS21059 and several others that have similar numbers (ms21060, etc).

RE: nutplate pitch

Hmmm, .688 MAX pitch for an MS21059? I've pitched them quite a bit farther after pryng them out of some unreachable area of an aircraft and being rewarded with a couple of bloody knuckles.mad

RE: nutplate pitch

Yes, but the pitch could be .688 Kilometers.

Thanks for the assistance

We are going to use a nut plate doubler similsr to one of the ides posted below

RE: nutplate pitch

Are you replacing camloc receptacles with floating nut plates?

RE: nutplate pitch

How do you pitch the rivets further than the .688 inch pitch manufactured in the nutplate?  Maybe you have a nutplate stretcher?? haha

RE: nutplate pitch

you'd attach the nutplates (maybe the one-legged variety) onto a strip of sheet stock, and attach that "somehow" to the plane ... no stretch marks involved

RE: nutplate pitch

rb1957...

I prefer cutting-out and using a 1-nut section of a gang-channel nutplate. ED should probably be at least 0.2... so overal length is ~1.16"(+) [0.58" X 2].
