Industry Standards for Salt Spray Tests

Industry Standards for Salt Spray Tests

(OP)
Hello all,

I'm looking for any kind of information/reference material on what industry considers good bench-marking practice for salt spray testing.  I have referenced the topic some; I know that salt spray tests do not represent real-life corroding enviroments and that hours in a salt spray test may not represent the hours that can be spent in the field without corrosion.  Just trying to get a handle on what  industry/companies consider good corrosion prevention in terms of using salt spray testing.  Thank you in advance.
