samllest analog storage device used in Renold smart link(chain)

(OP)
Can any one tell me what storage device(it's a pcb ith some chip on it) Renold smart link is using? If it is avilable in market(only the storage unit alone) pl let me know.

I need a smallest analog storage device.

RE: samllest analog storage device used in Renold smart link(chain)

It's probably a small flash or static memory.  Why would you think that's analog?

Why would you need analog storage?

RE: samllest analog storage device used in Renold smart link(chain)

The Smart Link clearly comprises a strain gage and a microcontroller that can read it and send an infrared signal that in the simplest case says yes|no the load exceeded some present threshold.  It requires one binary bit of storage, easily available within even the smallest microcontroller.

The second level apparently reprograms the threshold dynamically, and stores and transmits a relative time, which requires just a few more bits.

The third level apparently includes a different transducer and is finicky enough to require an onsite Renold engineer to figure out what's going on.

It's clever, but it's probably not what you're seeking.
