On obtaining the deviatoric strain in ABAQUS

On obtaining the deviatoric strain in ABAQUS

One can get Mises in ABAQUS as a areadily avialble output but I noticed that one can not readily obtain the deviatoric strain (the Mises stress-work conjugate)!!!!!!!!!! and in this case one has to compute it.  Plesae correct me if I am wrong.

RE: On obtaining the deviatoric strain in ABAQUS

The Mises stress is a scalar field. The deviatoric strain is a second order tensorial field.

Yes, you may have to compute it.

By the deviatoric strain I meant the work-conjugate of the Mises stress.(I just called deviatoric strain). It must be a scalar with my respect to your knowledge
