How can I delete a block with three objects that I cannot see?

How can I delete a block with three objects that I cannot see?

How can I delete a block with three objects that I cannot see?

(OP)
Somewhat new to AutoCAD, I am converting Italian drawings to FEDA standards. Several challenges exist and sometimes it means redrawing from scratch.

Question: How can I delete a block with three objects that I cannot see. I then want to delete its layer as part of clean-up.

The block preview window shows me something I did not draw, so it must have come with a copy from the source drawing.

Hi,

can you use "qselect"? Maybe you would find the objects.
Or you use a 3rd party tool:
http://www.manusoft.com/Software/SuperPurge/index.stm

Or you export all wanted objects by "_wblock"

re-define the block with objects that you can see.  then delete all insertions and purge your drawing.

One of the ways the guys here get rid of objects they can't see, like empty text or unused groups, (they're running LT, so can't use the wonderful lisp routines created for just this sort of thing) is:

list -->  all --> remove --> (select what you want to keep, with a window or crossing) --> enter

They then check the list to make sure it only includes what they want to get rid of, then:

erase --> previous --> enter
