I know A480s are talked about on this forum, but I can not find an actual answer!

Is there an accepted equivilent ASTM spec to ISO 3506?

I did actually find that reference, but it throws up another question which may be better off in the valve section...ASME B16.5 doesn't reference either ASTM std in the section for acceptable fixing material. So is there a history to F788 / F836?

Apologies if I should now leap across to valves - just a polite "go away" will suffice!
