Temperature profile along a Honeycomb Ceramic Cylinder

Temperature profile along a Honeycomb Ceramic Cylinder

Temperature profile along a Honeycomb Ceramic Cylinder

(OP)
Hello everyone, I have to do some calculations on an existing honeycomb cylinder-shape made of ceramic material. Dia= 500mm and Length: 600mm. The cylinder will be connected to a gas turbine combustor outlet by a S.S pipe with air temperature reaching 1000deg and mass flow 4.1 kg/s. I need help please with the following 2 points:
1. I need to calculate the temperature profile along the Honeycomb Ceramic Cylinder without being insulated.
2.  I am trying to deduct a formulas that relates the size of  each honeycomb opening ( small rectangular shape 1mmx1mm)to the temperature profile.
I am fairly new in the heat transfer area, any help at this stage would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply, I guess my question should have been asking for a general rule to solve this problem, or formulas. I already requested this book from our library,  is there any chapters I should be focusing on?
Thanks

I hope that you realize that there's not going to be a simple solution to your problem.  Your best bet is probably to run FEA on the problem.
