bacon4life - it says in the article that the undersize gusset plates were not the cause, not the "straw that broke the camel's back".  Sure they may have contributed to the matter but the articles says the investigation into what actually differed that day out of the last 40 years was under investigation.

Reporters often mis-represent the news, we don't need to help them!
