Automotive suspension geometry software advise?

Automotive suspension geometry software advise?

Automotive suspension geometry software advise?

(OP)
Hi guys,

I'm after a simplistic (and more to the point cheap / free) software program to help simulate the motions and effects of suspension geometery - instaneous roll centers acting about C of G etc. etc.
Does anyone know of such a software program.....?

Many thanks in advance!

Duncan Ritchie.

RE: Automotive suspension geometry software advise?

9 out of 10 posters who expressed a preference had more luck with automotive suspension questions in the automotive suspension forum.

Anyway, here's a review of all sorts of suspension related software, much of which is free to some extent:

FAQ800-768: Software for suspension analysis

and here's some descriptions of the books you need to make sense of whichever software you choose:

FAQ800-1327: Suspension and Vehicle Dynamics Books
