Secondary Packaging Test Methods for Cytotoxic Drugs

Secondary Packaging Test Methods for Cytotoxic Drugs

Secondary Packaging Test Methods for Cytotoxic Drugs

(OP)
I have several ideas for secondary packaging for cytotoxic drugs, which I intend to test to ensure robustness and practicality of the designs. Using clam shells, single-use cartons, vacuum formed trays, multi-pack cartons and secondary vials. Markets will be Europe and North America.

May I please ask for assistance to quote the relevant test methods; i.e. drop test, vibration, transportation, etc.

Thanks.

You may wish to check if the following is of any help:

ASTM D999: Standard Test Methods for Vibration Testing of Shipping Containers
ASTM D4169: Standard Practice for Performance Testing of Shipping Containers
MIL-STD-810: Transportation Profiles

and

International Safe Transit Association

Thank you for your valued assistance. Had you experienced the justification and difference between the ASTM and ISO drop test? (30 inches compared to 10 metres)

Thanks again
