SW 2008 - edit feature for reference plane

apparently SW threw out one of the old methods of being able to edit the features of a reference plane (right mouse click on the item in the design tree) and replaced it with...?   It's got a few folks stumped here right now - anyone have any insight?

RE: SW 2008 - edit feature for reference plane

Click on the plane.
The edit feature icon pops up.  First one in the pop-up menu...looks like a finger pointing at an extrusion.
It's no longer in the RMB menu, just in the pop-up.

Sorry, that should be click on it in the design tree.
Actually, or in the graphics window.  The same menu pops up.

hmm  - that only seems to work on some of the reference planes in the model (new ones and ones near the end of the design tree (ie newest features)).  On planes near the top of the design tree it does not give me the icon / option to edit the feature.  if I create the plane in SW 2008 it allows me to edit it - if its a carry over from SW2007 it seems to not always give me the option.

RE: SW 2008 - edit feature for reference plane

The few models that I checked from 2007 carried over & gave me the option.  Maybe someone else has seen this issue?
